Effective test-taking strategies contribute to greater productivity, higher grades and less stress. This workshop presents a systematic, research-based approach for test taking. Practical strategies and checklists are provided to improve learning testing outcomes. Bring sample questions.

Presented by Cathleen Goode

Cathleen Goode has over 35 years of experience in student development and marriage and family counseling. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and Consulting Psychology from Harvard University and an Educational Specialist degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hall University. Since 1988, she has served Brookdale students as a counselor in the Department of Student Development & Counseling and holds the rank of Professor.

She is passionate about student success and wellness and has developed workshops for Brookdale students on numerous topics, including managing test anxiety, stress management, test-taking skills, time management, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Tapping. She is currently pursuing certification in Positivity and the Relaxation Response (PART) through the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
