Discussion will include viewing art as both a physical object and the expression of an idea, art in the context of its time, and the elements of composition. (Includes light lunch) Books will be available for purchase at the event for book signings.
Gene Wisniewski received his art education at the New York Academy of Art, The National Academy of Design, The New School, and L’Ecole Albert Defois in Vihiers, France. He has twenty years’ experience teaching and is the author of The Art of Looking at Art. This course has been presented at NYU, the 92nd St Y and Soho House in New York.
