The Importance of Sustainability and Social Justice in the Fashion Industry (pre and post-COVID)

The International Education Center’s Global Citizenship Project 2020-2021 theme is One World: Environmental Issues.

Brookdale Professor Annmarie Hughes will share her experience as an entrepreneur as she discusses the subjects of global sourcing, sustainability, and social justice as they pertain to the fashion industry. Professor Hughes will also discuss historical practices and explore innovative technologies and pathways for the future of the fashion industry as it grapples with COVID-19 and systemic racism.
