In keeping with Brookdale’s Global Citizenship theme of Wellness, this lecture will be presented to address mental health care and resources within the Haitian community: challenges, myths, and cultural barriers. Guest Speaker Dr. Dyna Louis Pierre Glemaud will discuss the connection between mental health trends and the historical context and explain challenges, myths, and cultural barriers.
