What brought you to Brookdale?
It was close and it was a job I was really good at: helping people understand media technology.

Describe one or more of your biggest achievements as a Brookdale faculty member:
The redesigning of the Video Production and Audio Production program, and advancing the technology and rebuilding the facilities in a way that works best for student engagement and proficiency.

Do you work outside of the college?
I am a freelance media producer working regularly in the tri-state area as an editor, VFX animator, camera operator, audio recordist, consultant, etc. I also am a freelance trainer, having provided instruction on software for CNN, the U.S. Army, Columbia University, and countless other private and corporate clients.

What would you say is your most memorable moment – or moments – as a member of the Brookdale community?
Hosting a monthly poetry show that got students writing and performing. The show went on to be successful on a national scale, but it was founded at Brookdale.

What do you think separates Brookdale from other colleges?
Beyond the affordability, Brookdale has the most dedicated faculty. They are invested in their students development and are all fantastic. I’m amazed by the thankless work that I see all of my colleagues doing at Brookdale to make learning and the path to student success better.
