Describe one or more of your biggest achievements as a Brookdale faculty member:
I have received several promotions along with an Outstanding Colleague award from my fellow faculty members. For 20 years I served as an advisor to Collage, our literature and arts magazine, and I co-wrote, edited and designed the book Convince Me!, which details our English 122 course.

Do you work outside of the college?
My hobby is visual art. I often enter local shows through the Art Alliance of Monmouth County. I have also written many letters to editors that have been published both locally and in The New York Times. Some of my poems, essays and stories have been published in literary journals, and you can see my visual art hanging in several employee offices around campus, as well as in the Writing Center and around the English department offices in LAH.

What would you say is your most memorable moment – or moments – as a member of the Brookdale community?
Any time I am able to help a student is memorable to me.

What do you think separates Brookdale from other colleges?
Our faculty works very hard to give our students a great first two years in college. As a group, we are nurturing, challenging, and affirmative.
