Amusements Operations Manager - Asbury Park Boardwalk (Asbury)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Amusements Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our seasonal amusement facilities, Asbury Eighteen (mini golf) and Asbury Splash Park.


In this role, you will ensure that all guest experiences are memorable, safe, and seamless by managing staff and maintaining high standards of customer service. Your leadership will foster a fun, welcoming environment that encourages guest engagement and satisfaction while ensuring operational excellence across all amusements activities.


TERM: March or April through October


 


Job Responsibilities

-Schedules and supervises staff according to the activities scheduled and operation hours to ensure smooth and efficient functioning


-Ensures the safety of customers, staff, and equipment


-Maintains the cleanliness of facilities


-Responsible for facility maintenance and operation including maintaining proper water balance & levels


-Handle guest inquiries, resolve conflicts promptly with effective conflict management skills, and ensure a positive guest experience


-Coordinate pre and post season maintenance of equipment


-Manages cash drawer and reconcile daily


-Follow Accounting and Payroll procedures


-Order and inventory all equipment


-Maintain compliance with health, safety, and operational regulations; coordinate emergency response procedures when necessary.


-Promote operations by updating social media, website, and group sales


-Ensures customer relations and satisfaction are of the highest priority with all staff


 


 


Qualifications

-High School graduate


-Certified Pool Operator – or willing to obtain


-Valid CPR and First Aid certification – or willing to obtain


-Three to Five years comparable work experience including previous supervisory role in a recreation setting


-Hands-on experience with guest services operations in a high-volume setting


-Proven experience handling facility maintenance duties


-High moral character and mature judgement


-Computer savvy and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook


-Working knowledge of MICROS POS system preferred


-Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekend, and holidays


Physical Demands: –

-While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, and bend.


-The position requires general mobility including the ability to lift, manipulate and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds on a regular basis such as equipment, inventory, etc.


-The position frequently requires the use of arms, wrists, and hands for the entirety of the work period.


-Strong Communication skills


-The duties of this position require the employee to be both indoors and outdoors; exposure to warmer summer temperatures while working outside should be expected.

Salary Range: $25/ hour
