Assembly Technician - Krell Technologies (Neptune City)

Job Overview: This is a full-time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday, in-person role based in Neptune City, NJ.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to help build our advanced photonic processing systems.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components with a wide range of complexities.
Responsibilities:
-Assemble precision components and products of varying sizes and complexities following detailed work instructions.
-Conduct quality inspections, testing, and packaging of finished products.
-Operate manufacturing tools, including Mills, Lathes, Laser Cutters, and 3D Printers.
-Install firmware and software on components as required.
-Assist with inventory tracking and maintain manufacturing databases, instructions, and manuals.
-Identify process improvements and suggest efficiency enhancements.
-Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assembly issues and identify potential solutions.
-Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
-Meet the expected assembly timelines that are outlined in the production orders.
Qualifications
-1+ years of manufacturing experience or a technical education background preferred.
-Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small precision components.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with tablet-based operating systems (Android, iOS).
-Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and multitask effectively.
-Comfortable working in a hands-on, team-based environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
-Work may involve standing or sitting for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
-Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and work with small, detailed components.
-Exposure to moderate noise levels and occasional need for personal protective equipment (PPE) (gloves, glasses, etc.).
-Safe handling of chemicals like adhesives, lubricants, and solvents.
