Cardiac Arrhythmia Technicians – Full-Time Nights, Community Medical Center/RWJBarnabas Health (Toms River)

Position Summary

Community Medical Center, located in Toms River New Jersey, a member of RWJBarnabas Health, is looking for Cardiac Arrhythmia Techs to be part of our great Telemetry Service’s team!

The Cardiac Arrhythmia Tech is an integral part of our Telemetry Services. Responsibilities include observation of multiple patient monitors, printing out & measurement of rhythm strips, alerting the RN of high alert rhythms, cleaning and storage of patient monitors & application & removal of patient monitor leads.


High School Diploma or GED equivalent required within one (1) year of hire.

Graduate of vocational program with emphasis on non-invasive cardiology preferred.

Experience in an acute care setting helpful.

Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care

Candidates who do not possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent will be provided the opportunity to enroll in a GED/HSEA program at time of hire as a condition of employment. A hired candidate will be provided one (1) year from date of hire to successfully complete a GED program and obtain their HSEA.
