Position Summary

The Certified Home Health Aide and Certified Nursing Assistants is responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Basic care under direction of nursing staff

2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

3. Cooking skills preferred.

Qualifications

· Must be a certified home health aide or certified nursing assistants in accordance with the laws of the state. The desire to work in healthcare(we will certify CNA’s/CHHA’s as Medication Aides)

· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

· Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care

· Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.

· Must have patience tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle the geriatric population with dementia.
