Field Instructor - NJ Sea Grant Consortium (Highlands)
Position Summary
The NJ Sea Grant Consortium (NJSGC), a non-profit marine education organization on Sandy Hook, is hiring part-time seasonal field instructors for their K-12 Marine Science Education Program and Scout Program.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in marine science. If you love the outdoors, being at the beach, and staying in shape, this is your opportunity. We train you for the outdoor classroom and you will learn the local names of Jersey Shore shells and fish along with the history of Fort Hancock.

Job Responsibilities
Following a paid training period as a Field Instructor, your job will be to lead school and visiting groups through Sandy Hook’s salt marsh and beach environments.
Qualifications
-Experience is not necessary however a background in marine science, education or knowledge of Sandy Hook is helpful.
-Work begins in April.
