Position Summary

IT TECHNICIAN– The Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority (BTMUA), a progressive and large public utility, has an immediate opening for a IT Technician. The IT Technician provides assistance to the Authority IT Division in the maintenance of in-house computer systems (i.e., desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals), as well as our communication and security systems. This individual will assist with installing software/hardware, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all related IT hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal performance. Additionally, this individual will provide end user support to Authority staff.

 

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of one year of proven experience installing software and configuring PCs on a network.

Must possess effective problem-solving skills, interface effectively with staff, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Experience working with computers running Windows 10, and Office 365 preferred.

Degree from an Information Technology trade school or Associate’s Degree in Information Technology a plus and may be acceptable in lieu of work experience.

Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000 Based on experience
