Position Summary

Job Summary: The Junior Horticulturalist will learn how to install, care for and design urban perennial gardens! Actively beautify downtown communities and commercial plazas. Learn about plant care, pest management, and perennial landscapes.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Actively participate in landscaping tasks such as planting, watering, mulching, pruning, irrigation, and hardscaping

• Operate and maintain landscape equipment and tools

• Interact professionally with clients and coworkers

• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service

 

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor

• Willingness to take direction and work as a team for high quality work

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean background check

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly

• Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures

• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and walk for extended periods
