Marketing & Communications Coordinator - Collier Youth Services (Wickatunk)
Position Summary
The Communications & Marketing Coordinator supports the implementation of strategic communication, branding, and marketing efforts for Collier Youth Services’ educational programs.
The role focuses on content creation, digital media management, event promotion, and storytelling that reflect the values, mission, and impact of Collier Schools.
This position also contributes to agency-wide communication initiatives and works collaboratively across departments to enhance outreach, engagement, and visibility.
Job Responsibilities
Digital & Social Media Management
Develop and manage daily content for the Collier Schools website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), ensuring consistency, relevance, and alignment with organizational branding.
Implement and monitor paid Meta ad campaigns to support enrollment and event promotions.
Utilize tools such as Finalsite and Google Analytics to optimize SEO, improve user experience, and track content performance.
Marketing Strategy Execution:
Carry out marketing tactics outlined in the strategic plan for Collier Schools, including branding, advertising, and targeted outreach.
Design and distribute newsletters via Constant Contact; manage and segment contact lists for internal and external communications.
Content Creation & Storytelling:
Write and publish stories that highlight students, staff, and campus life, conveying Collier’s mission to both internal and external audiences.
Attend campus events, ceremonies, and spontaneous school activities to capture content through photographs and videos for promotional use.
Ensure student media release compliance for all publicly shared materials.
Event Coordination & Promotion
Plan, coordinate, and promote school events including Open Houses, Job Fairs, and special programming, working closely with school leadership.
Develop signage, flyers, and print materials to support event visibility and participation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain up-to-date contact databases for outreach to school districts, mental health professionals, pediatricians, and partners such as NAMI and Autism Speaks.
Strengthen relationships with internal departments (HR, Finance, Development, Residential, Camp) to ensure communication accuracy and content alignment.
Agency-Wide Support
Collaborate on graphics, flyers, newsletters, and branded content for residential, camp, and agency-wide programming.
Assist with grant writing, video production planning, and special initiatives such as the Collier Silent Auction and year-round development campaigns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
2–4 years of professional experience in nonprofit marketing, school communications, or digital media management.
Strong writing and storytelling ability; familiarity with AP Style a plus.
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Constant Contact, and website CMS platforms (e.g., Finalsite).
Working knowledge of social media advertising and analytics.
Commitment to the mission and values of Collier Youth Services.

Salary Range: 40,000-50,000
