Position Summary

Expanding Physician’s Group seeks experienced medical assistant. 

Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include interfacing with patients and managing patient flow, taking vitals, VENIPUNCTURE, injections, medication refills, charting and scanning documents, phone contact with patients, insurance companies and pharmacies. Assisting physician with procedures, and performing other tasks related to patient care.

We are a very busy practice where team work is necessary in order to provide excellent service to our patients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience as a medical assistant, extensive knowledge of practice management and EMR systems, excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills, is highly organized, has advanced clinical skills, is a team player and is good at managing multiple tasks.

We require individuals who can work till 7:00 p.m. during the week and are available to work a least 1 Saturday per month.

We offer a pleasant work environment. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Proficiency in VENIPUNCTURE is a must considering our office draws 20-30 specimens daily, and sends all labs to our in house lab.

Salary Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
