Job Description:

Key Holder/Retail Center Associate selling customer shipping, packaging and printing needs.

Responsibilities and Duties including but NOT limited to:

The UPS Store Sales Associate position requires excellent customer service skills as well as having a full understanding of our products and services and the ability to sell these products.

We also provide other services that are considered critical, such as print products and private mailbox service and you will be required to listen and read customers and suggest these services as appropriate

Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in Retail customers and telephone inquiries

Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership

Takes ownership of the customer’s shipping needs and offers viable solutions

Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends

Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others

Maintains a clean and safe working environment

Performs all other activities of a Retail Center Associate like operating cash registers, maintaining a clean and pleasant environment, start/end of the day activities.

Learning different computer software and programs to operate our systems

Ability to perform opening/closing operations

Maintain Mailbox customers files

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or GED required

Retail/customer service experience

Good communication and people skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites

Outstanding phone skills

Multitasking and to be a critical thinker

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math

Prompt, reliable, and responsible

Able to lift 50+ pounds

Ability to handle either opening or closing the store and work alone

Willing and able to work 35 hours per week with a varying schedule, must be available for Saturdays

Ability to obtain Notary certification is a MUST (additional compensation once acquired)


Salary: $12.50-14.00
