Part-time Office Assistant – Splendor Design Group (Red Bank)

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to maintain our financial records, including payroll, purchases/receipts, payments and assist in general administrative functions. Ideally the right candidate will have experience in construction industry.



Job Responsibilities

Bookkeeper job duties include data entry, working to create financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Proficiency with QuickBooks is absolutely required.

Daily Administrative Assistant duties include developing and maintaining filing systems, answering, and directing phone calls, organizing and scheduling appointments, plan meetings, maintaining insurance policies, requesting certificates.

Ultimately, the Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant will oversee the day-to-day operation of our backoffice, and handle all bookkeeping transactions.


Record day to day financial transactions.

Enter purchases daily & maintain receipts.

Scan & file documents

Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.

Answer and direct phone calls.

Organize and schedule appointments.

Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.

Submit Daily Summaries & weekly reports.

Create new reports, Highlight critical info & trends for management.



Proven bookkeeping experience, with experience with construction companies.

Proficient in QuickBooks is a necessity.

Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and Acrobat.

Ability to speak English, Bi-lingual is a plus.

Customer service orientated and vendor negotiation skills.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
