Pastry Line Cook - Drifthouse by David Burke (Sea Bright)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced cook for our pastry station. This is a great opportunity to work in Chef David Burke’s growing organization and to work directly with his exceptionally talented pastry chef.

Job Responsibilities

Job requirements include (but are not limited to):

Preparing food for dessert and bread service station

Setting up and organizing the station

Executing dessert and bread service menu items during dinner service

Wrapping and properly storing pastry prep, and cleaning the station at the end of the shift

Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Assisting the pastry chef with all necessary production

Assisting the pastry chef with maintaining dessert product inventory

Any other tasks as assigned by the executive chef and pastry chef


Desired qualifications include (but are not limited to):

1-5 years of experience working in an upscale restaurant kitchen, or equivalent formal culinary education

Working knowledge of basic culinary and pastry techniques

Able to follow directions

Able to communicate well with all team members

Able to manage multiple tasks during busy prep time and dinner service

Must be willing to learn on the job

Salary Range: Starting at $18 per hour and based on experience
