Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pool Technician to join our team for the summer season. This role involves traveling to residential and commercial pool sites throughout Ocean and Monmouth Counties to provide cleaning, chemical balancing, and system checks. Experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right individual who is eager to learn and work hard.

Job Responsibilities

-Clean and maintain pools, including vacuuming, brushing, and skimming debris

-Test and balance water chemistry using provided equipment

-Inspect and ensure proper operation of pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.)

-Maintain accurate service records and communicate issues or repairs needed

-Provide courteous and professional service to all clients

Qualifications

-Must be available to work Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (6/1–8/30)

-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

-Ability to lift and carry 30+ pounds

-Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

-Ability to perform simple math for chemical measurements and dosing

-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

-Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

-Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field

-Familiarity with pool systems and basic repair techniques

Compensation:

-Competitive hourly pay based on experience

-Training provided

Salary Range: $25-$30 p/Hr
