Position Summary

A concrete pump operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery that pumps concrete to various locations at construction sites. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient placement of concrete in hard-to-reach areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Operating a concrete pump truck or stationary pump to deliver concrete to designated locations.

• Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining pump equipment to ensure proper functioning.

• Setting up hoses, pipes, and boom extensions to direct concrete flow.

• Monitoring pressure gauges and pump systems to maintain smooth operation.

• Communicating with construction crews to ensure precise concrete placement.

• Adhering to safety guidelines and troubleshooting issues during pumping.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge of hydraulic and pump systems.

• Strong coordination and spatial awareness to maneuver pump equipment efficiently.

• Attention to detail to prevent clogs and maintain equipment integrity

• Physical stamina to work in challenging environments and handle heavy equipment
