Senior Specialist, Facilities


GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Perform general facilities maintenance, repair, renovation and installation duties including carpentry, plumbing or mechanical work, in a safe and prescribed manner. Execute maintenance work orders as assigned, confer with administrator or contractor as appropriate. Follow safety guidelines and inspect equipment/systems on a regular basis.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates preferred. Vocational or technical school training desirable. CDL license desirable. Active NJ Black Seal license desirable. Four years directly related experience. Knowledge of work hazards and applicable safety precautions associated with assigned area of work. Knowledge of equipment maintenance, installation, and advanced skill in the operation of various equipment that is essential to the position. Interpersonal, communications, and customer service skills. Computer literacy skills at an intermediate level with the demonstrated ability to utilize and apply Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as specialized software programs and computer applications. Ability to learn and apply office practices, procedures, policies, and regulations that are essential to the position. Valid driver’s license required.


Hours are Monday to Friday – 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Must be able to work overtime, evening, or weekends as requested.


SALARY

Annual Salary $43,655 (N4)
