Position Summary

The teacher Assistant works along side the classroom teacher in various classrooms to ensure safe, appropriate after-school services are being implemented.

MUST be flexible with working hours five days a week. Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to work with all age groups.

Job Responsibilities

-Assists the classroom teacher with care and supervision of children

-Participates in the organization of a wide array of indoor and outdoor activities including arts, crafts, games, music, dance, and educational projects, and group activities.

-Ensures the health and safety of all program participants.

 

Qualifications

-Must be 18 years or older

-High School Diploma required

-Related coursework or experience with children with challenging behaviors is a plus.

Job Location: Rt. 70 Toms River, NJ

Salary Range: $14.50- $15.00
