BROOKDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Brookdale Community College’s adult basic education (ABE), GED (High School Equivalency) and ESL (English as a Second Language) programs, based at Long Branch, Hazlet, Freehold and Neptune Higher Education Centers, are looking for part-time teachers to teach some of our adult classes.
The minimum commitment is six hours per week (these are paid positions). We are looking for teachers who can teach Math and/or English Language Arts at a middle-to-high school level. Knowledge of high school social studies and basic science concepts is a plus. We are also looking for ESL teachers. Retired teachers are highly valued at our programs. The courses are generally taught two days a week in the morning or evening (9am to noon or 6 to 9pm), with some exceptions. We do not have classes on Fridays and have a liberal vacation policy.
HOW TO APPLY: If interested, please contact Lori Krane, Program Administrator: firstname.lastname@example.org or 732-229-8440 x1530.
