Job Responsibilities

 Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a consistently warm, friendly demeanor.

 Provide exceptional valet services, ensuring the safety and security of people and vehicles.

 Assist individuals with mobility challenges, offering wheelchair and escort services as needed.

 Meticulously maintain records and efficiently manage parking logistics.

 Provide accurate directions and helpful information about the hospital facilities.

Qualifications

About You…

You have excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset. You know how to de-escalate difficult situations, and how to keep a calm and composed attitude in a fast-paced environment.

You possess a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record as well as the physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights while working in an outdoor environment.

We value your prior experience in valet services or hospitality even though this is not a requirement.

Summary and Qualifications: As a Valet Attendant, you are the first and last impression for patients and guests during their hospital visit, which allows us to make a huge impact! In this role, you will be the embodiment of customer service. Welcoming the patients & guests, parking/retrieving their vehicles, and assisting with loading/unloading of their vehicles. Alongside your fellow team members, you will help elevate the patient experience.

Location: Jersey Shore University Medical Center – Neptune City, NJ

Hours of Operation: 
Full-time shifts consist of 25 – 40 hours per week
Shifts will be Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Overtime opportunities available

Position Requirements:
Between 19 – 65 years of age (per company insurance policy)
Possess a valid in-state drivers license
Possess a clean driving record
High school Diploma or GED (Preferred not required)
Ability to  pass onboarding screening processes
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, paying attention to surroundings and details
Ability to work in a stationary position for hours at a time in an outdoor environment
Ability to move with urgency and speed
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to effectively build relationships with patients, guests, and team members
Ability to problem solve
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Drive a manual transmission (not required but a plus)
