Trial e-Resources

The primary purpose of the Brookdale Community College Library is to support the instructional and research needs of the students, faculty, and staff.

This area includes electronics resources which the Bankier Library is considering acquiring for the Brookdale community. As part of the evaluation process, we would like to receive comments from library patrons about the usefulness of these electronic resources. Note that some of the trials are available only on campus.

HeinOnline is a premier online database containing more than 182 million pages and 281,000 titles of historical and government documents in a fully searchable, image-based format. In addition to its vast collection of academic journals, HeinOnline contains the entire Congressional Record, Federal Register, and Code of Federal Regulations, complete coverage of the U.S. Reports back to 1754.

The new 2020 digital resources offered by NewsBank now provide the electronic image edition from around the country.  NewsBank’s unique content in Access World News Research Collection provides both global and local news coverage, providing sought-after information, especially during this uncertain time.
