Passwords Expire Tuesday, January 16, 2018
Effective Tuesday, January 16, 2018, all Brookdale students, faculty, and staff will be required to change their password to access online resources.
For uninterrupted access to Brookdale email, Office 365, Canvas, WebAdvisor, and other Brookdale applications and resources, you MUST change your password ON or AFTER TUESDAY, January 16, 2018.
On or After Tuesday, January 16, 2018, ALL Brookdale students, faculty, and staff MUST:
- Go to the Brookdale website at www.brookdalecc.edu
- Click the MyBrookdale link to access the QuickLaunch navigation
- Click the NetID icon
- Click “Change/Reset your password.”
- Follow the onscreen instructions to change/reset your password.
NOTE: You must enter your Brookdale 7-digit ID or your social security number to change/reset your password.
Please allow up to 15 minutes for the password change/reset to take effect before attempting to access any applications from the MyBrookdale QuickLaunch link.
IMPORTANT: Remember to update your password on your mobile devices, as well, to continue to receive your email to your mobile devices and to access the Brookdale wireless network.
Updating Email Password on your mobile device
You can update your Brookdale Email password on your device regardless of whether or not you are on campus. Follow these steps to update your Brookdale Email password on your mobile devices (cell phone, iPad, and tablet).
Updating Wireless Password on your mobile device
You can update your wireless access on your mobile devices (cell phone, iPad, laptop, and tablet) when you return to any Brookdale Campus.
To update your wireless password:
- Tap/click Settings
- Tap/click Wifi
- Tap/click Brookdale-Secure
- You will be prompted to enter your updated password
NOTE: If you have multiple devices and if your account is locked out, turn off all devices. Call Help Desk (224-2829) to have the account unlocked, and password reset. Once your password is reset, and your account is unlocked, turn on each device and update the email password following the instructions above.
If you change your password BEFORE Tuesday, January 16, 2018, you will be forced to change it AGAIN ON or AFTER Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
