CRJU 229: Criminal Due Process

Due process is the essence of justice in the American Criminal Justice System. Students will be introduced to the significant constitutional cases which define due process of law in the justice system. Important cases will be read and analyzed. Historical trends in constitutional law will be reviewed. Students will complete the course with a fundamental understanding of the impact of due process issues on the operation of the American Criminal Justice System. (Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or higher in CRJU 101)

PSYC 225: Human Sexuality

This comprehensive course will examine human sexuality holistically from multiple perspectives inclusive of physiological, psychological, and social cultural variables. Students will study sex anatomy, the physiology of sex and reproduction, theories of psychosexual development, cross-cultural patterns of sexuality, gender identity and roles inclusive of gender variance, sexual dysfunction, sexual relationships, and legal aspects of sexual behavior. (Prerequisite or Corequisite: PSYC-105 or PSYC-106)
