Brookdale’s academic assessment practices comply with the accreditation requirements of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The process encompasses:
- Articulation of learning outcomes

- Actions that guide changes to an academic program or course with the goal of improving student learning
A Director provides expertise and assistance to Institute Deans, academic department chairs, and individual faculty on the assessment of student learning. The Director also provides training on the college-wide assessment process and maintains a repository of the College’s assessment plans and annual reports, accessible here.
