International Applicants

Brookdale welcomes students from all over the world to study with us on campus as well as through our online programs.

International applicants are students who:

  • Plan to apply for a F-1 student visa; or
  • Currently have F-1 status; or
  • Wish to enroll in an online program and will remain outside the U.S.

How do I complete an application?

First, you will need to create an application portal account by clicking on the “Online Application” button above and then clicking the “Create Account” link on the sign in screen. Once you have created your account, click on the button in the middle of your My Applications section of the portal to begin working on your application.

To access an application in progress and continue your work on it, log back into your application portal and click on your application to continue working. Please note, you will no longer be able to edit your application after it has been fully submitted. Only applications with a status of “Started” may be edited.

How can I access an application I've already started?

Log back into your application portal here to resume working on your application. Please note, online applications that have not been submitted will be available to edit. If you wish to make a change to an application that has already been submitted or accepted, please contact the Admissions Office at 732-224-1857.

How do I submit an application?

Check your work carefully. When you are satisfied with it and are ready to send it to us, click the “Submit Application” button on the last page. You will be directed to the payment pages to complete your payment of the application fee.  After completing payment, your application will be submitted to the college.

Note: Your application is not fully submitted until you pay your application fee and it have been authorized. After your application has been submitted, we will update your application portal so that you can upload all required documents before an admissions decision is made.

How do I pay my application fee?

On the payment page, you can pay your application fee with a debit or credit card. If you are having difficulty paying your application fee using our payment page, please contact the International Center for directions on using an alternative payment method through

Is my account private?

Yes, the server stores all information you enter under the private username and password you establish.

How secure is my payment transaction?

Your debit/credit card information is encrypted during transmission from your browser to our server and during payment authorization. None of your debit/credit card information is stored in our database.

Is all my application data secure?

The information you enter is encrypted and secure when you save it and when you send it.

Although general data collected on the system may be used in statistical studies and reports designed to assist institutions with planning, any information bearing your personal identification is disclosed only to the department to which you send it.

How do I know if my application was received?

The My Applications section of your portal allows you to track the status of your application once it is submitted to Brookdale. The status is displayed to the right of your submitted application.

Applications with a status of “Started” have not yet been submitted for review by the college. Please note that payment of the application fee is required to complete your application submission.

Applications with a status of “Submitted” are complete and payment of the application fee has been made. We will begin working on your application review at this stage.

Applications with a status of “Action Required” are missing required documents. Please upload all required documents. When all documents have been received, your application status will change back to “Submitted” until we have finalized the review of your application file.

Applications with a status of “Completed” have been moved to our student database and are one step away from being accepted.

Applications with a status of “Accepted” have been accepted to the institution. To view your decision letter, click on the “View” link to the right of your accepted application.
