What brought you to Brookdale?
I was inspired by the challenge of teaching students with a wide range of skills and by professional opportunities.
Describe one or more of your biggest achievements as a Brookdale faculty member:
I am the course coordinator for College Algebra and Trigonometry and for Calculus III. I also run a summer camp to promote mathematics among young children.
Do you work outside of the college?
I serve as president of the Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges of New Jersey.
What would you say is your most memorable moment – or moments – as a member of the Brookdale community?
One of my most memorable moments was with a Calculus III student, and the happiness he expressed to me when he found out he had scored very well on his final exam.
What do you think separates Brookdale from other colleges?
Brookdale Community College is about excellence in teaching, and helping students achieve their goals while maintaining high academic standards.
Would you recommend that students take a class in your department?
I would definitely recommend that future students take a math course with any of our faculty. Our courses transfer to nearly any four-year college in the country.
