What is Pay-for-Print?

Brookdale’s Pay-for-Print services allows students, faculty, staff and community guests to pay for printing and copying using their Brookdale OneCard or Brookdale Guest Card. Cash and credit/debit cards are not accepted.

How do I pay for printing and copying?

Students
Step 1 – Load money into your Brookdale Bucks account in one of the following ways:

Mobile
Download the iPhone or Android Blackboard Transact eAccounts mobile app and transfer money from your checking/savings account.
Online
Log in to your Brookdale Bucks eAccount and transfer money from your checking/savings account.
In-Person
Visit a PHIL station located in the Student Life Center and Bankier Library.  Use cash or a credit/debit card to transfer money into your Brookdale Bucks account.

Step 2 – Print or copy
Step 3 – Swipe your Brookdale OneCard at the pay release station

Faculty/Staff
Work-related printing and copying
Use your departmental cost center code for work-related printing, copying, and scanning.  Your Dean or Department Chair can advise you of your cost center code.

Non-work-related printing, copying, and scanning
Step 1 – Load money into your Brookdale Bucks account in one of the following ways:

Mobile

Log in to your Brookdale Bucks eAccount and transfer money from your checking/savings account.
In-Person

Community Guests
Step 1 – Purchase a Brookdale Guest Card

Guest cards can be purchased at the PHIL station located in the Bankier Library on the Lincroft campus or from the designated vending machines at the Student Success Centers located at our other regional locations.  There is a $1.00 fee to purchase a guest card.

Step 2 – Print or copy
Step 3 – Swipe your Brookdale Guest Card at the pay release station

How much does it cost?

$0.10 per page for black & white (print/copy)
$0.90 per page for color (print/copy)
$1.00 purchase fee for guest cards only

Printers and copiers are available at each of our regional locations below:

Brookdale at Lincroft in the Bankier Library
Brookdale at Freehold in the Student Success Center
Brookdale at Hazlet in the Student Success Center
Brookdale at Long Branch in the Student Success Center
Brookdale at Neptune in the Student Success Center
Brookdale at Wall in the Student Success Center

Students/Faculty/Staff There are three ways you can load money into your Brookdale Bucks account.
  1. Mobile – download the iPhone or Android Blackboard Transact eAccounts mobile app and transfer money from your checking/savings account. Log in using your NetID.
  2. Online – log in to your Brookdale Bucks eAccount and transfer money from your checking/savings account. Log in using your NetID
  3. In-Person – at a PHIL station located in the Student Life Center and Bankier Library.  Use cash or a credit/debit card to transfer money into your Brookdale Bucks account.

Community Guests: There are two ways you can purchase a Brookdale Guest Card. There is a $1 fee to purchase a guest card. See Community Members tab for detailed information.

1. At the PHIL station located in the Bankier Library on the Lincroft campus.
2. From a designated vending machine at the Student Success Centers located at our other regional locations.

Printing

Step 1 – Submit your print job (File->Print)
Step 2 – Select your print job at the print release station
Step 3 – Swipe your card through the magnetic reader at the print release station
Step 4 – Pick up your printed papers at the printer

Copying

Step 1 – Place your copy in the printer
Step 2 – Swipe your card through the magnetic reader on the printer
Step 3 – Remove your original and printed copies from the printer

Why do I need to use my Brookdale OneCard or Guest Card?

For students, faculty and staff, the Brookdale OneCard is the official student and employee identification card and should be carried at all times.  The card can also be used to purchase items from the bookstore, dining locations, vending machines, pay for printing/copying, and to access the fitness center with your paid membership.  For community guests, the Brookdale Guest Card can be used to purchase items from the bookstore, dining locations, vending machines, pay for printing/copying, and to access the fitness center with your paid membership.

Can I print from my laptop or mobile device?

In order to print from your laptop, you will need to download and install the pay-for-print software.  Printing from a mobile device is not currently available.

How do I report a lost, stolen or damaged card?

To report your card lost or stolen, you can login to the Brookdale Community College Brookdale Bucks eAccounts and deactivate your Brookdale Bucks eAccount site 24 hours a day 7 days a week. To do this, follow the steps below: Deactivating Brookdale Bucks Using a Web Browser:

  1. Go to eAccounts at https://brookdalecc-sp.blackboard.com/eaccounts/AnonymousHome.aspx
  2. Enter your NetID username and password to access your account.
  3. Click the Card Services link at the top of the window.
  4. Click Deactivate Card. Deactivating the card will freeze the balance on the card. Any balance will automatically be transferred to the replacement card when it is issued.

Using the Mobile Application:

  1. Launch the eAccounts app on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Login with your your NetID username and password.
  3. Touch the Lost Card button.
  4. Touch the Deactivate Card button at the bottom of the screen.

NOTE: If you are unable to access your Brookdale Bucks eAccount online or on your mobile device, call the OIT Help Desk at (732) 224-2829 to report a lost or stolen card. OIT will assist in deactivating your card in order to protect any unused Brookdale Bucks. You MUST then get a replacement card. Any Brookdale Bucks balance will automatically be transferred to the replacement card when it is issued.

What happens if I don't have enough money on my card?

Your print/copy job will not be produced if you do not have enough money left on your card.

Community Members pay for printing and copying with a Brookdale Community Guest Card!

How it works….

Step 1:

  • Purchase a Community Guest Card from a vending machine for $5.00 (cash, credit and debit cards accepted at the vending machine) – $1.00 for the card with credit of $4.00 for printing.

Additional funds can be added to the card, see details below.

Step 2

  • Print or copy from the designated printing station.

Step 3

  • Swipe your Brookdale Community Guest Card at the pay release station to pick up your print or copy.

Printing Costs

  • $0.10 per page for black & white (print/copy/)
  • $0.90 per page for color (print/copy/)

NO REFUNDS for unused balances or lost cards.

Additional funds can be added to the card as follows:

  1. In-Person – visit the PHil Stations located in the Bankier Library and the Student Life Center located on the Lincroft Campus.Use a debit or credit card to transfer money to your Brookdale Community Guest Card.
  2. Online – log in to the Brookdale Bucks eAccount and transfer money from a credit card or debit card.
      • Select “Make a guest deposit

    • Enter the the Number that appear on the front of the card in  “Customer Number
    • Follow the online instructions to transfer money from your credit card or debit card account  to your Brookdale Community Guest Card.

Note: Guests/Community Members will be able to deposit money only through this portal and PHIL stations in Lincroft Library and SLC.
Mobile application does not support Guest Deposits.
