Brookdale’s new Fitness Center is located on the Lincroft campus in the new Recreation and Event Center (B-REC) adjacent to the Collins Arena. The most convenient parking is in Lot #6 or #7.

Can anyone join?
Yes, the new Brookdale Fitness Center is available to students, staff, and members of the community. We offer several types of memberships at different rates. For a General Membership package, click here.
Do Brookdale students get a discount?
Yes, all current students (full and part time) who show a validated student ID will be able to use the Fitness Center free of charge. Students must present a validated Brookdale ID and fill out the student membership package (below). Once you are in your system, you’ll be updated each term when you return with your updated validation sticker. You’ll need to present your Brookdale ID each time you enter the Fitness Center. Is there a daily rate?
Yes, a daily membership is available at $10 per visit. View all rates here.
What are your hours?
Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 8:30 pm
Saturday – Sunday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Do you have an indoor track?
Yes, the Collins Arena (attached to our complex) track is available to Fitness Center members, students, and community members. The track is open M-F, 9 am -2 pm. However, the track will be closed during athletic competitions and special events.
Is there a swimming pool?
No, not at this time.
What kinds of equipment does the Fitness Center have?
We have a wide variety of exercise equipment from Life Fitness, Cybex, and Hammer Strength. Click here for a detailed list.
Is there childcare?
No, child care is not available, and children are not permitted on the exercise floor.
Can I put an existing membership on hold?
Memberships will be extended for medical reasons only. If you bring in a doctor’s note regarding the reason and length of time you are unable to attend, we can extend your membership. No adjustment or credited time is allowed for vacations or other absences.
Can I sign up for differing periods of time?
Yes, memberships are available from one day to one year.
What is the minimum age for membership?
The Fitness Center is open to individuals age 18 and older. Children 14 and older may join as part of a Family Membership, but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when using the facility.
Do you offer exercise classes?
Yes, we offer exercise classes. Currently we offer Yoga, Pilates, Cardio-Kick, Power Hour, Cardio-Sculpt, the Barre Method, and Zumba.

Brookdale Fitness Center members, Brookdale students and staff – $30 for an unlimited number of classes for a 3-month period. (Does not include the 1-month trial membership offer.)
Or, $5 per single class.
Non-Members: $75 for an unlimited number of classes for a 3-month period.
