Welcome to Brookdale!
In 1967, our first president claimed all of Monmouth County as our campus. Today, we are proud to serve more than 20,000 students each year at locations throughout Monmouth County, including our picturesque 220-acre main campus in Lincroft and our regional location in Wall Township, while maintaining a strong educational and community presence throughout Monmouth County, including Freehold, Long Branch, and Neptune.
Our classes are small, generally 15 to 35 students, and are taught by highly credentialed faculty who are committed to student success. Our faculty are from some of the nation’s most respected institutions, including Harvard, Juilliard, Fordham, NYU, Villanova, Northeastern, NJIT, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Rutgers. With more than 60 academic programs to choose from, including business administration, engineering, automotive technology, digital animation, education, nursing, criminal justice, architecture, pre-social work, and many others, Brookdale offers opportunities for students with virtually every academic and career interest.
Brookdale offers degree programs that prepare students to transfer to four-year colleges and universities, as well as career-focused programs designed to lead directly to employment. Our Division of Continuing and Professional Studies also provides short-term workforce training and professional development programs for adults seeking to advance or change their careers.
Our unique university partnerships with Rutgers University, Georgian Court University, Monmouth University, and Kean University enable students to earn bachelors, and even masters degrees without leaving Monmouth County, while saving tens of thousands of dollars in tuition costs. Our transfer agreements provide seamless pathways to institutions such as Stockton University, Rowan University, and every public four-year college and university in New Jersey, as well as prestigious institutions including Cornell University, Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, and many others across the country. On average, Brookdale transfer students earn higher GPAs at their transfer institutions than students who began there as freshmen.
Outside the classroom, students have countless opportunities to become involved and engaged in campus life. We offer more than 50 student clubs and organizations, nationally recognized athletic programs, distinguished lecture series, live entertainment, study abroad opportunities, free career counseling, and internship opportunities with more than 500 local businesses and organizations.
Brookdale is one of the smartest investments you can make in your future.
