Music & Music Technology


The Music program at Brookdale prepares students for transfer to a four-year program.

Completion of an associate degree is the first step toward gaining a position as a teacher, supervisor, or director of choral, instrumental, and/or theater production programs in elementary, middle, or secondary schools, as well as in choral or instrumental organizations. Numerous full-time teaching positions exist in public and private schools for music education majors.

The Music Technology program at Brookdale provides students with the skills and expertise necessary to enter the filed of computer-generated music. The curriculum provides a complete education in the software used in the digital music industry including ProTools®, Finale® and NOTION Music®.
