Pay in full when you register – it’s quick and easy.
Ways to Pay:
ONLINE
All credit & debit card and direct debit (ACH) from a checking or savings account payments will be made through Transact through Self-Service online.
Below are instructions to submit payment online by credit card:
- Select “My Brookdale” [Button in Upper Right Corner of Screen]
Select “WebAdvisor/Self- Service” - Log in with your Brookdale username and password
- Click on Home > Student Finance > Account Summary
- On the right of “Total Amount Due”, click on “MAKE A PAYMENT”
The fine print: All credit & debit card payments must be made through Transact. You will be advised of the fee at the time of payment. A service fee (2.95% for a domestic and 4.25% for an International or a minimum $3 service fee) will be charged for all transactions based on the type of credit or debit card presented. Direct debit from a checking or savings account only accepted online ACH service fee is $0.50.
IN PERSON
Cash, personal checks, and money orders are accepted. Submit your payment in cash/money order/check to the Cashier’s Office in-person (between 8:30am-4:30pm) at the following location:

Please make sure your student ID is in the memo field and also that the check will reach the College by the due date to ensure classes are not dropped.
AFTER HOURS OPTION
You are also able to submit your payment in money order/check by putting it in an envelope and then leaving it in the AFTER HOURS DROP BOX that is located outside of the Cashier’s Office located at:

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT IS ON A RETRICTIVE HOLD FOR A PAST DUE BALANCE, please make sure to submit your payment in cash or by money order at the Cashier’s Office for the hold to come off immediately off your student account. If you submit payment by check or by credit card then the hold will be removed off your student account after 5-10 business days, allowing your bank to process and release funds to Brookdale.

Important Update: New Online Payment Processor
Brookdale Community College is transitioning its online e-commerce processor from Nelnet Business Services (Nelnet) to Transact IDX (Transact). Please review the instructions below carefully, as the enrollment process varies by semester.
Fall 2026 Terms (Transact)
Starting Monday, May 27, 2026, all online payment services and payment plans for Fall 2026 terms will be processed through Transact.
The Fall 2026 semester includes the following distinct terms:

⚠️ Multi-Term Enrollment Warning (How to Save $65)
Transact requires students to enroll in a separate payment plan for each individual term listed above, which normally triggers a $65 non-refundable enrollment fee for each plan.
Example: If you take courses in both the 26 Fall (15 Weeks) and 26 Fall 7B (7 Weeks) terms, enrolling normally would require two separate down-payments and two separate $65 setup fees ($130 total).
To avoid paying the additional $65 fee for multiple terms, follow these steps:
- Enroll in your first Fall 2026 term payment plan online and submit the $65 enrollment fee and down payment.
- From your official Brookdale email address, send an email to cashier@brookdalecc.edu requesting to add your additional Fall term(s) without the extra fee.

- Your First and Last Name
- Student ID number
- Date of Birth
- Phone Number
- The Cashier’s Office will email you a unique web link(s) to complete your additional payment plan(s) enrollment(s) fee-free.
Transact Fee Structure
- Setup Fee: $65 non-refundable fee per plan.
- Credit/Debit Card Fees: 2.95% for domestic cards; 4.25% for international cards (or a minimum $3 service fee).
- Direct debit from a checking or savings account only accepted online ACH service fee is $0.50.
- ACH Fee (Direct debit from a checking or savings account): $0.50 processing fee.
- $30 Returned Payment Fee for a declined and dishonored payments.
How to Enroll for Fall 2026:
- Go to MyBrookdale (button in the upper right corner of the screen).
- Select WebAdvisor/Self Service and log in with your credentials.
- Navigate to Home > Student Finance > Account Summary.
- To the right of “Total Amount Due”, click Make a Payment.

Important Payment Plan Notice:
If you add and/or drop a course, Transact does not automatically update your payment plan. You must log in and manually consolidate your new charges into your existing plan in a timely manner.
Failing to update your plan will leave it at the original amount, resulting in an unpaid balance. You are solely responsible for actively monitoring and managing your payment plan.
Apply for Financial Aid
File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and learn if you qualify for federal grants, financial aid, scholarships, work-study programs or subsidized student loans.
Brookdale awards over $30 million in financial aid each year – in grants, scholarships, loans and more.

You May be Eligible for Tuition Free Brookdale Community College
Tuition-free Brookdale Community College is now available to recent high school graduates, returning students and working adults who have not earned a post secondary degree. You may be eligible for tuition-free community college!
Eligibility requirements include the following:
Total household adjusted gross income (AGI):
- Students (first time receiving CCOG): AGI between $0–$65,000 → to qualify for up to 100% award.
- Previous Grant Recipients (received CCOG award in a past semester): AGI between $0–$100,000 → awards are tiered.
- Completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application
- Make satisfactory academic progress
- Enrolled in at least six (6) credits at Brookdale Community College during the academic year.
