Our services include:
- Comprehensive Intake
- Personal coaching and emotional support
- Career Exploration and Development
- Job Skills Workshops
- Computer Training (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Workshops to support self-sufficiency
- Optional Support Group
- Access to Community resources and referrals
- Training Scholarships
The mission of Displaced Homemakers Services at Brookdale Community College is to assist individuals achieve their goals of emotional and financial self-sufficiency. We help people become empowered to make their own decisions, and upgrade and/or obtain skills to support themselves and their families.
