Grant Funded Training
Your company may be eligible for training with funding provided by the Department of Labor. Brookdale will assist you in the application process and administrative details. Classes are conducted at your location or at one of Brookdale’s six locations in Monmouth County.
New Jersey Business and Industry Association Grants (NJBIA)
Monmouth County business owners can now train their employees at Brookdale Community College through a New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development training grant in partnership with the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) and the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce & Economic Development. Employees of any New Jersey business are eligible to take advantage of this offer. View information on registration and open enrollment schedules.
Department of Labor Customized Training Grants
The Center for Career Development, in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development (DOLWD), trains hundreds of workers annually in a variety of workforce competencies.
Some of the DOLWD Grant Courses include the following:
- Lean Six Sigma
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Decision Making Skills – mathematics, problem solving, planning, prioritizing
- Interpersonal Skills – cooperation, conflict resolution, negotiation
- Lifelong Learning Skills – responsibility, reflection, research
- Technology – PC training to acquire, process and manage information
