The Brookdale Jersey Blues women took a hard 72-63 loss in the Region XIX finals against the Rowan College South Jersey – Gloucester Roadrunners. The Blues trailed by three at the half, and came up five points shy in the 4th quarter.

Freshman guard, Carissa Reyes, was key in the game, keeping the Blues afloat by scoring a season-high 29 points, then adding five assists. Freshman guard, Rha-Khia Mack, clinched her 13th double-double, with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks for the books.

Brookdale is currently 16-11, and waiting upon an at large bid for the NJCAA Division III Tournament which takes place March 9-12, in Rochester, MN.
