Brookdale Public Radio 90.5 The Night joined with Monmouth County to support Family and Children’s Services in Long Branch, NJ this holiday season to collect gifts for children 13 and younger through Operation Sleighbells.  90.5 The Night set up a donation box at its studio on the Brookdale Community College campus in Lincroft. Monmouth County established drop off locations at the Records and Annex , Agriculture, Human Services and Public Works buildings in Freehold. Individuals donated gifts including clothing, infant necessities and toys.

90.5 The Night collected more than 200 gifts for children at its studio from members of the Brookdale community and from the Old 97s Holiday Show at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park on December 13.

“We are linked to the communities where our listeners reside and were glad that we could partner with Brookdale Community College, Monmouth County and local businesses in making sure that those families and individuals in need did not go without this holiday season,” said Brookdale Public Radio Program Director Tom Brennan.
