Curriculum Sequence

The Brookdale Community Nursing Program is designed as a 5-semester program with the first term of courses being identified as “pre-clinical” and containing general education courses that are the pre-requisites for the first clinical nursing course. The total number of credits required for the program is 64. Many students complete most or all of the program’s general education requirements before the first clinical course. The first clinical course is offered both in fall and spring semesters.

The following sequence is an example of how this degree can be completed in 5 semesters. This sequence is based on satisfaction of all Foundational Studies requirements and pre-requisites and presumes a fall term start date. An individual’s program may vary depending on individual needs. See an academic advisor/counselor for other options and to monitor your progress.
