The A.S. in Biology program provides a challenging but nurturing environment that prepares students for transfer to baccalaureate programs while offering a diversity of courses in the biological sciences.  Prerequisites for programs in the Health Sciences are also offered.

Biology Degree

Brookdale offers the following degree in Biology; click on the degree to read more in our online catalog.

Biology Option, A.S.

Students wishing to transfer to biology or pre-medical studies should choose this option which combines biology and related scientific studies with liberal arts requirements. Bachelor’s degree graduates enter medical, veterinary, dental or graduate schools or take positions as biologists, laboratory technicians and researchers.

Transfer Opportunities

Transfer Agreements by Academic Program: Articulation Agreements are formal agreements between Brookdale and other colleges and universities. These agreements define how the courses you complete at Brookdale will apply to your future bachelor’s degree when you transfer into a baccalaureate program.
