About: Origins of the Brookdale Cyber Center

The Brookdale Cyber Center has grown out of the New Jersey Cyber Aces Academy, which was established at Brookdale and funded through a two-year National Science Foundation grant and the SANS Institute, the Academy is testament to the potential power of public-private initiatives. Through the collaborative efforts of Counter Hack Challenges, the SANS Institute, the Cyber Aces Foundation, Brookdale, and the New Jersey Secretary of Higher Education’s office, what started as an idea less than a year ago is a reality being replicated by other states across the nation.
