Upcoming information sessions introduce students and families to a unique opportunity to live at TCNJ, learn with Brookdale and save on college tuition.

For students who dream of attending The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), there is another way to make that dream a reality. Whether they were not initially accepted to TCNJ or are looking for a more affordable route to a four-year degree, a unique partnership with Brookdale Community College offers an exciting opportunity to begin their college journey on TCNJ’s campus.

Through the Brookdale + TCNJ Residential Partnership, students can live on TCNJ’s Ewing campus, participate in college life, and take classes taught by Brookdale professors at community college tuition rates. The program combines the affordability and academic support of Brookdale with the experience of attending a residential four-year college.

Three upcoming information sessions will give prospective students and families an opportunity to explore the partnership, learn about eligibility and admissions requirements, and discover how the program can provide a pathway to a bachelor’s degree.

Students enrolled in the partnership complete up to 30 credits with Brookdale during their first year while living on TCNJ’s campus. After meeting program requirements, they can seamlessly transfer to TCNJ as sophomores to continue pursuing their bachelor’s degree.

The experience extends well beyond the classroom. Students can immerse themselves in TCNJ’s campus community, with access to dining facilities, the fitness center, recreational spaces, intramural sports, student organizations, and the R. Barbara Gitenstein Library. They also benefit from academic resources and student support services designed to help them succeed.

A unique partnership between Brookdale Community College and The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) allows students to begin their college journey directly on TCNJ’s campus.
