The Brookdale Big Band Concert will be held at Brookdale Community College on April 27 from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on the Lincroft campus.

The Brookdale Big Band was founded in 1985 by Joseph Accurso, professor in the music department, in order to preserve and propagate the style period of Jazz music known as Swing. The 18-piece group specializes in Jazz Swing music reminiscent of the Swing Bands of the 1940s and 50s.

Tickets for the event are $5 for students, $10 for seniors, and $15 for the general public.
