Brookdale Community College and The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) signed a transfer agreement on November 14 that will enable Brookdale Honors students who complete their degree at Brookdale and meet the requirements to seamlessly transfer and be guaranteed admission to TCNJ.

“We are incredibly proud of this opportunity for us to be in this partnership with TCNJ,” said Dr. David Stout, president of Brookdale. “The caliber of the education provided by TCNJ is very high, and that is one of the reasons why we love so much this partnership with our Honors Program,” he said.

“We are absolutely honored and delighted to be signing this articulation agreement with Brookdale,” said Kate Foster, president of TCNJ. “This is an agreement between TCNJ and an eminent community college in the state of New Jersey,” she said. “We look at this as the beginning of a long, fruitful, and exciting partnership between what we consider to be two fine institutions,” said Foster.

“We have an incredible honors program with a very long track record of developing students so that they are prepared to be successful in any college or any university,” said Stout. He thanked Jonathan Moschberger, professor in the political science department and Honors Program coordinator, as well as Cheryl Fencik, assistant professor in the biology department and Honors Program assistant coordinator, for their hard work and dedication to the program.
