LINCROFT, NJ (Oct. 14, 2015) – Registration opens on Nov. 18 for a wide range of career training programs that will be offered this spring at Brookdale Community College, including affordable courses in health care, information technology, business, education, nonprofit management and interpreting.

Registration is still open for Brookdale’s pet massage certification program, which begins on November 20.  The Small Animal Massage Practitioner (SAMP) program, held in partnership with the Northwest School of Animal Massage, provides students with the skills and training necessary to start a career in the growing pet services industry. Current professionals, including dog groomers, sitters and veterinary technicians, can use the certification to expand their offerings and reach new customers.

The SAMP program begins with a three- or four-month-long, self-paced distance education program and concludes with a week-long, hands-on training program at Brookdale in Lincroft. Graduates will learn a wide range of skills, including behavior and handling, kinesiology, massage techniques and practices, first aid and pathology. Ignite, unleash and enhance your child’s creative thinking with a hands-on digital arts program offered at Brookdale’s Lincroft campus on Saturday, Nov. 21. The all-day program, titled “A Black Rocket,” will feature sessions on stop-motion animation and the designs of “Minecraft.”
