LINCROFT, NJ (Oct. 16, 2015) – Brookdale Community College will host two open houses this fall featuring expanded offerings for adult learners, career-changers and residents returning to the classroom.

Brookdale’s college-wide Fall Open House, open to high-school students, prospective college students and residents of all ages, will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15 at Brookdale’s Collins Arena, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft.

Brookdale’s new Adult Open House, designed specifically for residents age 24 and over, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the Brookdale Student Life Center.

At both events, visitors can meet one-on-one with college faculty and staff and learn about Brookdale’s more than 50 degree and certificate programs. Staff will be on hand to discuss financial aid, scholarships, internship opportunities, campus clubs, employment services and career training programs.

The Adult Open House will also offer a range of services specifically for working adults and former college enrollees, including a personalized “prior learning assessment.” Attendees can learn if their work history, military service or previous classroom experience applies as credit toward a Brookdale degree.

The college-wide open house will feature representatives from Brookdale’s partner universities, including Georgian Court University and Rutgers University, which offer streamlined transfer services and discounted tuition to graduates. Attendees can also take guided tours of the Lincroft campus and snack on complimentary food provided by Brookdale’s Culinary Education Center.

Parking for the arena and the Student Life Center is in Lot 6 or 7. To register or learn more visit www.brookdalecc.edu or call 732-224-1857.
