Brookdale’s Jillian Fay Named 2025 NJCAA DIII Region 19 Softball Player of the Year

Sophomore shortstop Jillian Fay continues to shine on the diamond, earning top honors as the 2025 NJCAA Division III Region 19 Softball Player of the Year. The standout from Middletown South High School capped off a dominant season with a stellar stat line that left little doubt about her impact on the field.

In 42 games, Fay posted a remarkable .538 batting average, driving in 34 runs, belting three home runs, and crossing the plate 77 times. She also showcased her speed and aggressive baserunning with 36 stolen bases, helping lead her team to one of its strongest seasons to date.

Her performance also earned her a coveted First Team selection on the 2025 NJCAA DIII Softball All-Region team. Throughout the season, Fay proved to be a consistent force, earning GSAC DIII Softball Player of the Week honors twice.

Fay’s recognition comes as no surprise to coaches, teammates, and fans who have watched her consistently elevate her game and lead by example. With her latest accolade, she adds yet another milestone to an already impressive collegiate career.
