Brookdale Community College Women’s Basketball Team won in the NJCAA Region XIX Tournament quarterfinals at home on Saturday.

At the end of the first quarter against the Community College of Philadelphia, the Jersey Blues took the lead and held it right into the half to finish 64-41.

Freshman guard, Jada Rogers from Long Branch, recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and freshman guard, Rha-khia Mack from Piscataway, added 16 points for the win.

The third seed Jersey Blues will travel to Northampton Community College to take on the second seed Spartans in the semi-finals on Wednesday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm.

NJCAA Region XIX is comprised of 28 two-year colleges in NJ, DE, and PA.
