Sophomore standout infielder and dominant slugger, Rocko Brzezniak, was recently named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DIII Region 19 and Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Player of the Year for his outstanding performances this year as a Jersey Blue.

Brzezniak (St. John Vianney High School) plays both third and first base, boasting an exceptional .957 fielding percentage. Offensively, Brzezniak leads the nation in hitting with a .570 batting average, ranks third in the nation for RBIs with 82, and is fifth on the list with 12 home runs. Additionally, he has chalked up 38 stolen bases.

Beyond his Player of the Year honors, Brzezniak earned 1st Team NJCAA All-Region, 1st Team All-GSAC, and was named the 2023-24 Male Athlete of the Year at the recent Jersey Blues banquet.
